VIEW the GGA Classifieds

The GGA offers classifieds advertising to commercial enterprises or private individuals, whether they be members of the GGA or not. This is the perfect way to bring your "for sale" items or wants to the attention of the international community of gecko enthusiasts.

The contents of the On-Line Classifieds are available for all to see.  Posting ability is free with current GGA membership with the exception of “Student membership” category. Posting is also available to non GGA members for a fee of $25.00 per year. Use of the GGA Classifieds must be in accordance with the Advertising Policy and posting an ad signifies your acceptance of the Policy. Any qualified GGA member wishing to have an entry in the On-Line Classifieds only needs to post their ad. Once membership is verified or payment is received your add will be activated.

Classified listings must be kept current and will expire if not renewed periodically. Listings will also be removed if your GGA membership has expired without renewal, or if payment is not received for non-GGA members.

Advertising Rates

The following rates are for On-Line  classified ads on the GGA website:

Single category ad with a maximum of 140 words:

Free for GGA members with the exception of “Student membership” category.

$25.00 per year for non-GGA members starting with receipt of payment.

The rates for classified ads in "Chit-Chat" are:

$2 per line with a minimum of 3 lines

The following rates are for Display Advertisements for use in  "Chit-Chat". These rates are for ads supplied on disk, additional setup charges will apply for hardcopy ads, which require scanning.

Full page ad 5.5" wide x 8.5" tall $100 Half page Horizontal: 5.5" wide x 4" tall Vertical: 2.5" wide x 8.5" tall $50 1/4 page 2.5" wide x 4" tall $25 Discounts will be given for multiple display ads as  follows: 10% for 2 consecutive ads 20% for 3 or more consecutive  ads

Advertising Policy

The well-being of our members (and their geckos) is the primary concern of the GGA. The editorial board of the GGA reserves the right to refuse any advertisement or advertiser that it deems inappropriate. Advertisers who fail to provide stated products and services will  be reviewed and will be refused further exposure, if found to be in conflict with the welfare of our membership. Advertisements will be accepted for a full range of products of interest to the GGA membership at the discretion of the GGA Board. However, where the sale of live geckos is concerned, only advertisements  for captive-bred and captive-hatched animals will be accepted. Please review the “Terms of use” before posting your ad.
